Executive Profiles
Roger Tovar, CEO, President
Mr. Tovar has over eight solid years of professional experience as a management and technology consultant, gained while conducting contract work for the Federal Government. He holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management with an emphasis in management information systems from Carnegie Mellon University; a top ranked school in the field of information technology. Mr. Tovar is a native of East Los Angeles, and is very proud of his Mexican American Heritage.
In July of 2000, Mr. Tovar joined Booz Allen & Hamilton in McLean, Virginia. While at Booz Allen, Mr. Tovar specialized in the areas of Information Assurance, smart cards, and biometrics. Clients included the Defense Information Agency, The Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Defense Information Security Agency, the US Air Force and the US Army. After over two and a half years with BAH, Mr. Tovar joined the DoD's Biometrics Management Office (BMO) as contract project manager.
At the BMO, Mr. Tovar served in a high profile role in leading the development of the DoD's Biometrics Enterprise Solution for the establishment of a DoD biometrics infrastructure. He provided leadership and guidance for the DoD Biometrics Enterprise Work Group, consisting of over forty senior and mid-level government, information security, and information management professionals. While with the BMO, Mr. Tovar had the opportunity to coordinate and participate in interviews of senior DoD leadership with the RAND corporation in the US, Japan, and Korea to identify biometrics security requirements.
Colonel (Ret.) Robert J. Bollig, CISSP - Advisor
Mr. Bollig is currently an Information System Security Engineer for Gladiator. He is recognized by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium as a Certified Information System Security Professional.
In May 2003, Mr. Bollig completed over 33 years service in the United States Army serving most recently as the Deputy Director for Department of Defense Biometrics Management Office where he was responsible for the development of biometrics technologies and information assurance policy; the integration of biometrics and information systems security into sustaining base and tactical environment; and amongst other duties, the orchestration of plans, and procedures to secure vital DoD information systems.
Mr. Bollig is a native of the Midwest and has diverse background in agriculture, energy production industry, manufacturing, and information services. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Arts at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, and Masters Degree in Business Administration at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a graduate of Army Command and General Staff Officer Course, and National Defense University, Information Resource Management College, where he achieved Chief Information Officer certification.
Mark Wilson NSA-IEM, NSA-IAM, MCP - Advisor
Mr. Wilson is experienced in a wide variety of information technology services, including enterprise strategy and integration, Section 508 compliance, information assurance and company security (INFOSEC), internet services, business intelligence and data warehousing, network integration, wireless application development and integration, and software assurance for emerging technologies. As a high-level technology strategist and a senior INFOSEC professional, his extensive ranges from Certification and Accreditation of federal computer systems to FISMA reporting.
In 2001, Mr. Wilson was the founding Secretary of the Information Systems Security Association, Northern Virginia Chapter. He served as Vice President in 2003 and President in 2004 (www.ISSA-NOVA.org) ISSA-NOVA is a non-profit international organization of information security professionals that promotes the advancement of information and computer security. He is also the former Director of the Strategic Leadership Network of Washington DC; a community of leaders interested in exploring ways to lead, develop and implement organizational strategies and new innovative business opportunities in the public and private sectors.
Mr. Wilson studied Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University, Engineering Extension Service, in Austin Texas from 1983 to 1985, completed his studies for CET and A+ Certification in 1994. He became a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in 1999. Recently, Mr. Wilson earned his National Security Agency-INFOSEC Methodology Assessment Certification (NSA-IAM), and achieved his NSA-INFOSEC Evaluation Methodology (NSA-IEM) certification in 2005.
