ASVACO
ASVACO is a Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman Owned, 8(a) that has developed the tools, policies, methods, and processes for self-assessment. The tools are for both Physical and Logical vulnerability aspects directly applicable to the Department of Navy and Civil Agency needs.
The ASVACO tool provides a comprehensive method to automate a vulnerability assessment analysis of the gathered data for DoN and Civil agencies at a low cost. The resulting vulnerability assessment analysis can allow periodical review and reporting of a critical infrastructures protection status of an identified asset.
The purpose of the tools and processes of ASVACO are to enable comprehensive infrastructure security assessments that are usable and adaptable at many levels from the person out in the field, to the incident commander in an operation center. This enables decision makers to make better informed decisions and actions.
